Race Matters Discussion Group

This group meets monthly to discuss racial issues in American society. Everyone is welcome.

At this session the group will discuss chapters 3, 4, and 5 of the book WE WERE EIGHT YEARS IN POWER by Ta-Nehisi Coates. Participants may reserve a library copy or choose to purchase their own book.

Please bring a potluck dish to share for Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration of the end of slavery in the United States.
