Race Matters Discussion Group

This group meets monthly to discuss racial issues in American society. Everyone is welcome.

At this session the group will discuss "The Case for Reparations" by Ta-Nehisi Coates. The piece was originally published as a long article in THE ATLANTIC and is available to read online in the magazine's archives. It may also be read as Chapter 6 in Coates's book WE WERE EIGHT YEARS IN POWER--participants may reserve a library copy or choose to purchase their own book.
