CANCELLED: From Suffragists to League of Women Voters In-Person

CANCELLED - Please Check Back for Re-Scheduling - From our colonial days to the 21st century, women have been speaking out about public policy.  Their voices were being heard in our earliest assembly halls, to Seneca Falls, to the Suffragist Movement, before it all coalesced into the League of Women Voters.  In February of 1920, the National American Woman Suffrage Association transitioned into the League of Women Voters when they envisioned the final state voting YEA on the 19th Amendment.

Voting rights, civil rights, women’s rights and more became the core of its mission.  Women’s voices have been an integral part of the American Experience and will continue in that essential role through the League of Women Voters.
