Health Education: Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease @Main In-Person
Dementia is a progressive syndrome causing cognitive decline—memory loss, impaired reasoning, and behavior changes—severe enough to disrupt daily life. Primarily affecting older adults, it includes diseases like Alzheimer's, vascular, and Lewy body dementia. While incurable, early diagnosis and person-centered care improve quality of life and management. We will cover the impact, types of dementia, symptoms, diagnosis management and care.
