About the Speakers:
Matt Harris and Seton Tucker launched their podcast, Impact of Influence in June of 2021 shortly after the murders of Maggie and Paul Murdaugh. Matt is the cohost of the morning show the Mix 107.9 in Charlotte, NC and Seton grew up in the lowcountry of South Carolina near where the murders occurred. After the boat crash which resulted in the death of Mallory Beach, Seton had been following the story and she teamed up with Matt because of his broadcasting background to start the podcast. They have had over 20 million downloads and have appeared on documentaries including: Fox Nation, Fall of the House of Murdaugh; Oxygen, Alex Murdaugh: Death Deception and Power and American Greed, The Decline of a Dynasty. Matt was a regular guest on CourtTV during the Murdaugh trial. On the podcast, they have featured many guest including lead prosecutor, Creighton Waters and defense attorneys Jim Griffin and Dick Harpootlian.
