'Grandmaster: The Vic Moore Story' screening with Christopher Everett In-Person

Join us to celebrate Black History Month by watching a rough cut screening of the newest documentary film "Grandmaster: The Vic Moore Story" by Christopher Everett, producer and director of the award-winning documentary film "Wilmington on Fire." 

Meet Grandmaster Moore and Mr. Everett after the film and hear about Vic Moore's life and career in the martial arts. 

Title: Grandmaster: The Vic Moore Story

Synopsis: In 1965, Vic Moore became one of the first African Americans to win a major karate competition. Now over 50 years later, Vic Moore is locked in a race against time to pass his knowledge of Shuri-ryū karate to the next generation of martial artists as he struggles with the health repercussions of a strenuous martial arts career.
