The American Red Cross Cape Fear Chapter presents an emergency preparedness program for kids ages 3-8. Please register.
"Prepare with Pedro" is a program specifically tailored for Pre-K through 2nd-grade students. This engaging and age-appropriate curriculum utilizes a beloved character, Pedro the Penguin, to introduce children to emergency preparedness concepts in a fun and interactive manner. Through interactive activities, storytelling, and hands-on exercises, students will learn vital skills such as recognizing potential dangers, understanding emergency supplies, and practicing an emergency plan.
