MINECRAFT AT NHCPL - Virtual Program Online
Play Minecraft virtually with your membership at New Hanover County Library! Play MinecraftEDU (PC, Mac, iPad, Tablets, Chromebooks) remotely with friends and connect with other players on NHCPL's private servers. Program includes Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced skill levels. Ages 6-12. Registration is required. Recommended for children who are new to Minecraft and want to learn the basics, or just like to play in Creative or Survival Mode! Players must download the MinecraftEDU software onto their computer or device prior to the session. The most recent version. https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/download/
Rebooting your computer prior to logging on and usage of a mouse during gameplay is highly recommended. Rules Charter document must be reviewed on invitation email with participant prior to program.
30 minutes prior to the session, players will connect to a private Webex video chat to recieve their password and host code for that day's program. A MOUSE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR THIS PROGRAM FOR THOSE USING COMPUTERS/CHROMEBOOKS!
