No More Panic: Your Research Toolkit In-Person

Students in grades 4–8 are invited to develop strong research skills that can last a lifetime. This three-part series will focus on:

  • Developing an essential question

  • Searching databases and primary sources for accurate information

  • Creating a Works Cited page

Students are asked to come to the January 27, 2026 session having chosen a topic that interests them and having read a little about it in a reliable source, such as a trusted website or reference book.

Program Dates:

  • January 27, 2026: Research planning and creating an essential question

  • February 27, 2026: Choosing and using databases; creating a Works Cited page

  • March 24, 2026: Discover primary sources
